Form/Vibration - A four day interactive work held at Gowanus Loft in Brooklyn. The public was invited to sit for as long as they wanted and partake in a sensory experience. Together we made weavings on cardboard box looms with cotton yarn as the sweet smell of melting beeswax filled the room. After completing their weaving, participants were asked to coat their pieces with the beeswax, cut them off the box looms, and attach them to a handmade net that hung above the workspace. After the four days, the net was heavy with weavings and the cardboard boxes and blanket upon which we worked was covered in beeswax drippings, documenting the gestural movements of participants.
